 Welcome to
Music with Ms. Debby

I am so glad you stopped by to see what is going on in the wonderful world of St. Mark's Early Ed Music class!  My name is Ms. Debby and I am a proud St. Mark's staff member with over twenty years of service.  I am the mother of three grown children and grandmother of seven.  My love and appreciation for music was taught early in my life at the knee of my traditional singing Irish grandmother.

While raising my family and volunteering for Public school, I became involved in the McGruff Crime Dog Puppet Presentations.  This program re-affirmed the power music has for teaching children.   In 1990, I joined the St. Mark's Mother's Day Out Program as a three year old classroom teacher and remained in the position for 12 years.  Now my passion is for teaching music to the precious little children in our Early Education Program, much like my grandmother taught me.

During music classes, you will find me teaching with a
multitude of puppets, storybooks, rhythm instruments, and props.  We sing along with a vast variety of artist's music.  Artists like Steve & Greg, Hal Palmer, Joe Scruggs, Jim Gill, Kinderman, Mr. Al, Music Together, Justin Roberts, Dr. Jean, Lanny Sherwin, Sandman Records, Kinder Music, Fred Koch, Sally Hamilton, Piggyback, Lynn Kleiner, Wee Sing, Steven Fite, Laurie Berkner, Hymns, Orginal, and Anna Moo as well as many others not mentioned.

Thank you for sharing your children with me!  I hope you find that Music Class is a place your child loves to be!

Ms. Debby
