Helpful Facts:

My hope is for your child to have a successful school year. Here are some ways you can help!

·        Times. School starts at 8:20 AM and ends at 2:30 PM. If you need care before or after these hours, please see Julie or Debbie to sign up for Early Care or Extended Care.

·        Sign-In and Out. Please remember to sign in and out at drop off and pick up times. There will be a sign-in sheet in the classroom.

If someone else will be picking up your child, write a note in the comment portion next to your child’s name. Make sure this included in your list of authorized pick-ups with Julie in the office. I will only release your child to this person upon verification of picture ID.

Please also indicate on the sign-in sheet whether your child will be having hot lunch or has brought their lunch from home, or if they will be staying for Extended Care.

·        Toys. PLEASE leave toys at home. If toys do come to school, we will put these away in the backpack until your child goes home.

·        Clothing. Remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather and do expect them to come home looking like they had a good time. Shoes must have a closed toe and rubber, no-slip soles (tennis shoes are best).

·        Daily Leader. At least once a month, your child will have an opportunity to be the Class Leader. On your child’s leader day, I encourage you to bring a favorite book to share with their friends.

·        Communication. I will send out a monthly schedule and newsletter to remind you of special events/activities and of your child’s day to be leader. This information will also be available on the school’s website: http://stmarksearlyeducation.com.
